Banksy lock rat, a very early example of one of Banksy’s iconic rats on a piece of masonry. The lock rats were originally on Providence place in Brighton. This is an incredibly rare, unique piece of genuine Banksy graffiti street art.
Providence place is a road that runs parallel to London Road (where Banksy had the vote more elephant above the British stationery shop). This rat was removed from a building at the end of Providence Place around 2006 when the building was being developed.
